about@agap.esFrequently Asked Questions
How does AGAPES Chat ground its answers and where is the RAG database hosted?
AGAPES Chat performs real-time Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) against a vector database hosted 100% on our own servers in the European Union. The knowledge base is strictly curated from public domain historical works (Early Church Fathers, classic commentaries, historic creeds, public domain scripture) with direct citations. End users cannot upload arbitrary external documents.
Which AI models power AGAPES Chat and are queries used for AI training?
Inference is routed through OpenRouter to leading commercial foundation models (including OpenAI, Anthropic, MiniMax, and Inception) under strict Zero Data Retention (ZDR) and No-Training model configurations. User account identities, emails, and client IP addresses are never transmitted to LLM providers. Please note: if you explicitly type personal identifiers directly into your prompt, they are sent as part of the query payload without automated masking.
Are my chat messages screened by third-party moderation APIs?
No. AGAPES Chat enforces safety and doctrinal focus exclusively through internal system prompt instructions and backend architectural guardrails. Prompts are not routed through external third-party content moderation scanners.
Do I need an account to use AGAPES Chat?
No. You can use AGAPES Chat as an anonymous guest without an account; guest conversations are 100% ephemeral in your browser memory and are never saved to server databases. Optional authentication via our self-hosted Keycloak Single Sign-On (https://sso.agap.es) in the European Union enables saving and continuing your chat history across devices.
What happens when I delete a chat or my account?
Registered users have full self-service deletion controls. Deleting a chat thread or wiping all history performs an immediate hard deletion from active database tables. For complete Keycloak profile erasure, email about@agap.es.
Is there an age requirement to use AGAPES Chat?
Users of all ages are welcome to use AGAPES Chat for biblical research and theological exploration. For minors under 14 years of age, parental guidance is recommended when exploring complex doctrinal, ethical, and spiritual topics.
Is AGAPES Chat free to use?
Yes, AGAPES Chat provides a free public tier with standard rate limits for biblical research and theological study. In the future, optional premium subscription tiers may be introduced for users requiring higher usage quotas, advanced reasoning models, or church/team collaborative workspaces.
How do I report an issue or suggest a feature?
Please email about@agap.es with details of your query, issue, or feature idea.
