Frequently Asked Questions

What is AGAPES Studio and who maintains it?

AGAPES Studio is a web-based biblical research workstation and hosted Model Context Protocol (MCP) service developed under the AGAPES AI initiative and maintained by Esteban Sánchez (FosanzDev). It unifies multi-version scripture synchronization, Greek and Hebrew interlinear texts with Strong's concordance tags, cross-references, biblical geography, and historical commentaries.

Does the AGAPES Studio MCP service log my queries or IP?

No. AGAPES Studio operates a strict zero-log policy for all Model Context Protocol (MCP) tool requests. Queries are processed purely in-memory against local self-hosted databases. No prompt histories, verse queries, or IP addresses are permanently retained.

Where is my reading progress and preferences stored?

In your web browser's localStorage. The web reader does not require an account and stores zero user dossiers on our servers. Optional cloud account synchronization for notes and bookmarks may be introduced in the future on a strict opt-in basis.

Where are the servers located?

All AGAPES Studio servers, reverse proxies, and databases are physically located in the European Union (EU), subject to the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

How can external applications or AI assistants connect to AGAPES Studio?

AGAPES Studio exposes standard Model Context Protocol (MCP) streamable endpoints (via HTTP at https://studio.agap.es/mcp). External AI assistants only transmit specific tool parameters (e.g., book name, chapter number, verse reference, Strong's ID); full chat transcripts or broader conversational contexts are never received.

Does AGAPES Studio comply with OpenAI Plugin and MCP Directory guidelines?

Yes. AGAPES Studio fully adheres to universal plugin and MCP directory standards: it operates under a strict zero-log policy, requests only discrete task-specific parameters without accessing full chat transcripts, returns zero telemetry or tracking IDs in tool responses, serves zero ads, initiates no in-chat payment flows, and maintains dedicated support at about@agap.es.

Is AGAPES Studio free to use for research?

Yes. AGAPES Studio provides a free public tier for research and open scripture study. In the future, optional subscription-based tiers may be introduced on our website to support high-volume developer API usage and royalty payments for licensed contemporary copyrighted Bible translations.

How do I report an issue or suggest a feature?
